Head of Commercial
Package:
£65,000–£70,000 basic salary + performance related bonus
Location:
Remote (UK)
Clover Talent is partnering with a fast-growing, tech-led commercial finance brokerage looking to appoint a Head of Commercial to help improve and scale the commercial operation.
Working directly alongside the leadership team and Head of Sales, the successful candidate will take ownership of lender relationships, operational processes, systems, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships across the existing lender panel and manage the onboarding of new funding partners.
- Review existing workflows, remove delays, and improve the journey from enquiry through to completion.
- Work with the technical team to improve systems and processes as the volume of deals increases.
- Work closely with Sales to improve deal flow and ensure opportunities are matched effectively with lender appetite.
- Ensure operational processes and procedures remain compliant with relevant UK regulatory and FCA requirements.

What we are looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience working within a UK commercial finance brokerage or specialist business lender.
- Established relationships across UK commercial lenders and a strong understanding of lender appetite and criteria.
- Experience improving internal processes, systems, or CRM workflows.
- Strong knowledge of core business finance products, including Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, Unsecured Loans, and Commercial Property.
- A practical, hands-on professional who can work independently, take ownership, and make sound commercial decisions.
