Head of Commercial Analytics
London | Hybrid - 3 days per week
£120,000-£140,000 + benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Commercial Analytics to join a high-growth, data-led business in London.
This is a senior role with significant exposure across the wider organisation, working closely with leadership teams to use data and insight to support commercial strategy and decision-making.
The Role
You'll lead and shape the commercial analytics agenda, helping the business understand performance, identify opportunities and make better, data-driven decisions.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading commercial analytics across key areas of the business
- Using data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to solve complex commercial problems
- Developing clear, actionable insight from large and varied datasets
- Supporting strategic planning and decision-making
- Improving analytical approaches, processes and ways of working
- Communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to analysis

About You
We're looking for an experienced analytics leader who can combine strong technical ability with commercial judgement.
You'll ideally have:
- Significant experience in commercial, customer, strategy or product analytics
- Excellent SQL and Python skills
- A strong academic background, ideally within a STEM discipline
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- The ability to simplify complex problems and communicate insights clearly
- A pragmatic, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to operate in a fast-moving environment
