The opportunity
Crowd Network is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Head of Commercial – Cricket to lead the commercial growth of For the Love of Cricket, our flagship cricket content brand hosted by Stuart Broad and Jos Buttler.
For The Love of Cricket has been built around two of the most recognisable personalities in the modern game, creating premium cricket content across YouTube, social, audio, and other digital platforms.
We are now looking for someone to take ownership of its commercial strategy and execution.
The immediate opportunity is to build a year-round commercial plan around the biggest moments in the cricket calendar — from the Ashes and World Cups to the IPL and The Hundred — creating major opportunities for brands to partner with Stuart, Jos and For the Love of Cricket.
This isn't simply about selling sponsorship inventory.
We want someone who can understand where cricket, brands, talent, and content intersect — and turn that into creative, valuable, and long-term commercial partnerships.
Beyond For the Love of Cricket, there is significant scope to help shape the wider commercial development of Crowd's cricket business, including women's cricket, new formats, branded content, and potential international expansion.
The role
You'll take the lead on commercial strategy and revenue generation for The Love of Cricket.
A major part of the role will be developing a 12-month commercial calendar around the biggest events in world cricket, identifying the brands that should be part of those moments and creating compelling ways for them to work with us.
You'll work closely with Crowd's leadership, content, and production teams, alongside Stuart and Jos, to develop partnerships that work creatively as well as commercially.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver the commercial strategy for For the Love of Cricket.
- Build and execute a year-round commercial plan around major cricketing moments including the Ashes, IPL, The Hundred, World Cups and major international series.
- Drive significant new-business revenue across brand-direct and agency partnerships.
- Identify the brands and categories with the strongest strategic fit around different cricket events and audiences.
- Develop major integrated partnerships across YouTube, social, audio, branded content, and live experiences.
- Create bespoke ideas that allow brands to work authentically with Stuart Broad, Jos Buttler and the wider For the Love of Cricket platform.
- Build senior relationships with brands, agencies, and key commercial decisionmakers within sport.
- Develop longer-term partnerships that move beyond individual campaigns or tournaments into year-round relationships.
- Work with Crowd's creative and content teams to turn client briefs and conversations into compelling commercial propositions.
- Take responsibility for the commercial pipeline, forecasting, and delivery against agreed revenue targets.
- Manage and grow existing commercial relationships, with a strong focus on renewals and increasing partner value.
- Work alongside our Account Management team to ensure campaigns are delivered brilliantly once sold.
- Represent For the Love of Cricket and Crowd at relevant industry events, client meetings, and cricket occasions.
- Identify new commercial opportunities and revenue streams beyond traditional sponsorship.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Building the wider cricket business
While For the Love of Cricket will be the immediate commercial priority, the role has significant scope to grow.
Crowd's ambition is to build a much broader cricket content business.
That includes our growing women's cricket content, new formats, international opportunities, and the potential to create new shows and content around different territories and major moments in the global cricket calendar.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a central role in shaping the commercial strategy for that growth.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with an understanding of sport, content, and modern media.
You'll ideally have:
- A strong track record in sports sponsorship, media, branded content, or partnerships.
- Experience delivering significant new-business revenue.
- Strong relationships across brands and/or media agencies.
- The ability to develop senior relationships with marketing decisionmakers.
- A strong understanding of cricket and its commercial landscape.
- The ability to spot commercial opportunities around major sporting moments and turn them into sellable propositions.
- Experience selling integrated partnerships rather than simply media inventory.
- The ability to think creatively about how brands can work with high-profile talent.
- Strong commercial discipline around pipeline management, forecasting, and targets.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the desire to help build a business rather than simply inherit a sales list.
Why Crowd?
Crowd is building personality-led sports media brands designed for the way audiences consume sport today.
Our For the Love Of.. network brings together some of sport's most recognisable personalities across cricket, rugby, golf, cycling, and other major sports.
Our model goes far beyond traditional podcasts.
We create content across YouTube, social and audio, allowing brands to become part of the stories and conversations audiences care about rather than simply advertising around them.
For The Love of Cricket gives the right commercial person an unusual opportunity: an established content brand, two globally recognised cricketers and a calendar packed with major commercial moments.
We're looking for someone who can turn that opportunity into a significant, year-round commercial business.
