We're bold. We're disruptive. We're powered by creativity, innovation and industry-leading tech. And as we continue to break records across countries, channels and categories, we're looking for extraordinary talent to join us.

About The Role

We're looking for an ambitious Head of Commercial to join our expanding EU commercial team. You will be responsible for leading a team as well as nurturing, and establishing strategic partnerships with our retail partners, identifying new commercial opportunities to effortlessly bring the Tilbury magic to life in store and online.

You'll have a limitless mindset and proven experience working as a Head of Commercial or similar level. You will be highly numerate, a team leader, target-driven, commercially savvy, keen to find creative solutions to challenges and passionate about working in the beauty industry!

Please note this is a 12 month fixed-term contract. This role will be based in our London Head Office, we work a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days can be WFH.

As a Head of Commercial, you will

  • Coach and motivate your team to achieve and exceed their objectives and targets, installing commercial excellence.
  • Establish and maintain amazing & collaborative relationships with retail partners at all levels including Buying/Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing, to ensure that the Charlotte Tilbury brand is positioned to deliver more than its due share of voice, visibility and exposure.
  • Conduct successful commercial negotiations and contract management including terms, pricing, distribution, space and location, in-store visibility and beyond. Insert yourself as a senior escalation contact to all relevant retail partners.
  • Ensure a top-line and detailed understanding of retail context, category and individual store performance to identify retail opportunities and strategic needs.
  • Build and deliver against a retail sales target (within budget expectations), with the engagement and alignment of the Marketing & Retail teams. Deliver strategic plans to maintain and drive #1 ranking across the European estate!
  • Retain agility to react to retail trends and maximise opportunities across retailers. Monitor, manage, and optimise sales performance.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting for NPD and core lines, and proactive inventory and assortment management, with close collaboration with Sales Operations.
  • Own all net sales forecasting for defined retailers, meeting all financial deadlines and budget submissions, flagging risks and opportunities in a timely and quantified manner. Manage each account P&L, balancing investment with top-line opportunity - monitor retailer profit contribution and achieve agreed profit.
  • Lead end to end retailer strategy roll out annually, leading across all departments to collaborate and deliver an exceptional presentation and 360 plans.
  • Align trading plans with team - local and global - to ensure a consistent and phased plan across all retailers within the region, avoiding unnecessary conflicts of activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
