Interim Head of Commercial Finance
Annual Salary: £100k - £120k
Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract
Start Date: September/ Early October
This is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded, qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience and a strong track record in commercial finance and business partnering at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to evaluate performance, optimise revenues, and improve cost efficiency across all income streams
- Provide clear, forward-looking financial analysis to support key business decisions and pricing strategies
- Present key performance insights, forecasts, and trends to the CEO and senior leadership team to enable informed, data-led decisions
- Lead and support long-term financial planning, including the development of robust business cases for future growth initiatives
- Collaborate with non-finance stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of operational performance, highlighting key risks and identifying value-adding opportunities

Candidate Profile:

- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Minimum 5 years’ PQE in a commercial finance or FP&A role
- Proven experience in business partnering senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent presentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a small team
