Head of Commercial Finance

We’re partnering with an exciting, commercially driven business to appoint an experienced Head of Commercial Finance on an 8-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance leader to step into a high-impact role, working closely with senior leadership to influence strategic decision-making, drive commercial performance and support business growth.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience in gaming, FMCG, sales-led or marketing-driven organisations where commercial finance plays a pivotal role in shaping business strategy.
The Opportunity
As Head of Commercial Finance you’ll provide commercial and financial leadership across the organisation, partnering with senior stakeholders to support revenue growth, pricing strategy and commercial decision-making.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with a practical, detail-orientated approach. You'll challenge, influence and collaborate across the business, helping to maximise commercial performance during an exciting period of change.

Key Responsibilities
You'll play a key role in driving commercial success by:
- Leading commercial finance activities across the business and partnering with key stakeholders.
- Owning pricing strategy and pricing risk, provisioning commercially focused insight and recommendations.
- Driving revenue optimisation and supporting commercial decision-making.
- Delivering high-quality financial analysis to influence strategic business performance.
- Building strong relationships across Finance, Sales, Marketing and the wider leadership team.
- Producing robust budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting.
- Supporting the business through change, providing financial leadership in a fast-paced environment.
About You
You will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

- Proven commercial finance experience within gaming, FMCG, sales-led or marketing-focused businesses.
- Strong expertise in pricing strategy, revenue management and commercial analysis.
- Experience managing pricing and commercial risk.
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving commercial environment.
