Head of Finance Operations

Head of Finance Operations required to drive performance and profitability within fast moving and high volume production facility based in North Cambridgeshire

Whilst managing a small team of Finance Business Partners, you will work closely with the CFO and Director of Operations to drive strategy, maximise efficiencies and drive the bottom line.

In this hands-on role you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with senior operational leaders across both sites to improve performance and profitability.
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, planning and operational performance reviews.
  • Providing clear financial insight, challenge and decision support.
  • Driving cost control, KPI accountability and strong financial governance.
  • Improving reporting, systems, processes and operational costing.
  • Leading and developing the Operational Finance team.
  • Playing a key role in new bids and tenders while building costing models for new product launches.
  • Ensuring oversight of operational finance and checking figures to confirm profitability.
  • Driving transformation, fostering collaboration, and building trust with stakeholders, as finance is truly valued as the “engine room” of the business.
  • Supporting and driving strategic projects.
