Company Description
NEP Group is the business behind many of the world's biggest live sports and entertainment broadcasts. Across Europe we operate in more than a dozen countries, with production crews, mobile units, studios, remote and cloud capabilities, connectivity and software platforms serving broadcasters, streamers, rights holders and event owners.
Role Description
The Head of Commercial Operations, Europe is a UK-based role with a European remit, reporting to the VP, Commercial Operations, Europe. Europe is building one commercial engine behind all of its services, and this role leads that build. The goal is a bigger and better qualified pipeline, sharper deals, and sales teams who spend their time selling.
You will own four areas end to end:
- Growth and pipeline: the European opportunity map of events, venues, rights holders and accounts worth pursuing, turned into qualified pipeline with Marketing and the sales teams
- Deals and bids: commercial support on our largest and must-win bids, covering deal structure, pricing strategy, bid economics, renewals and win/loss reviews
- Reporting and analysis: the monthly/weekly performance pack for European leadership and the Group Exec, with analysis of win rates, pricing, margin and customer profitability, and a recommendation next to the numbers
- Pricing, targets and incentives: the European target model, rate card, discount guardrails and incentive plan administration

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
