An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Property Partner to join a national law firm in Birmingham, with the opportunity to take a lead role in shaping and developing the firm's commercial property offering.
This is a role for a partner who wants more than simply managing an existing caseload. With scope to lead the team, drive strategic growth and build on the firm's established presence, this represents an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make their mark.
The Opportunity
The firm is looking to appoint a commercially minded Commercial Property Partner who can take ownership of the team's development, identify new opportunities and play a key role in the wider strategic direction of the practice.

The Role
- Take a leading role in the development and growth of the Birmingham commercial property team
- Set and implement a clear strategy for the department, identifying opportunities to expand the practice and increase market share
- Manage a varied commercial property caseload, advising on complex transactions and providing commercially focused advice to a broad client base
- Develop existing client relationships and generate new business through networking, referrals and business development initiatives
- Lead, mentor and develop lawyers within the team, creating a strong platform for future growth
- Work closely with the wider partnership to support the firm's strategic objectives and identify opportunities for cross-referral
- Play a key role in recruitment and the continued development of the team's profile in the Birmingham market

- Established Commercial Property Partner with a strong technical background
- Demonstrable track record in business development
- Ability to build and lead a successful team
- Commercially astute, ambitious, and keen to take ownership of a department's future direction
- Ability to develop relationships, inspire colleagues, and identify opportunities to grow both the team and its client base
- Partners with an established following are encouraged to apply, and team moves will also be considered
