We are seeking an exceptional Head of Commercial Solutions to lead the commercial growth of our Environmental Services business. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a commercially astute professional who is passionate about environmental services and capable of delivering ambitious revenue growth across a diverse portfolio of solutions.
Working across Emergency Response Services, Environmental Protection Services (EPS), and Engineering Services, you will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies that unlock new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive sustainable business performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver ambitious commercial growth plans aligned to business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth across recurring and project-based service lines.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within key market sectors.
- Lead commercial activities including opportunity management, forecasting, bids, tenders, and contract negotiations.
- Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to maximise long-term value and retention.
- Collaborate with operational, technical, and commercial teams to ensure customer needs are translated into effective solutions.
- Support strategic planning, business case development, and growth initiatives.
- Monitor commercial performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to drive informed decision-making.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and commercial excellence.

Qualifications
You will be a proven commercial leader with a strong track record of delivering growth in a fast-paced environment. You'll bring:
- Significant experience in senior commercial, business development, or sales leadership roles.
- Environmental services sector knowledge and a genuine passion for delivering positive environmental outcomes.
- Demonstrable success in developing and executing growth strategies that deliver measurable revenue and profit improvement.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing commercial performance against targets.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, tender management, and customer relationship development.
- Knowledge of contract frameworks including NEC, CDM, and JCT.
- Outstanding communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to analyse complex challenges and implement practical, customer-focused solutions.
- A collaborative leadership style with a focus on performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
