Our client is an international, technology-led financial services business operating across multiple regulated markets. The company provides digital financial products and services to a global customer base and is entering its next stage of commercial growth.

The Role

The Head of Commercial Strategy will define and lead growth initiatives across commercial strategy, product, marketing, and customer development. This is not a purely sales-focused position. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to grow revenue, expand into new markets, improve customer acquisition and retention, and strengthen the company’s overall market position.

Working closely with senior leadership and teams across Marketing, Product, Business Development, Finance, and Technology, the role will turn strategic growth opportunities into measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s commercial and growth strategy.
  • Identify new markets, customer segments, products, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional growth initiatives across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Experience.
  • Evaluate customer acquisition, activation, retention, and lifetime value, recommending improvements across the full customer journey.
  • Work with Marketing to optimise channels, campaigns, positioning, and return on investment.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and commercial performance to guide business decisions.
  • Build business cases and financial models for new initiatives.
  • Define growth KPIs and monitor revenue, profitability, conversion, and customer performance.
  • Present strategic recommendations and progress updates to senior leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
