Head of Commercial - Discounters & Convenience
We're looking for a commercially driven leader to take ownership of our Discounter and Value Retail channels, driving sustainable growth, strengthening customer partnerships and leading a high-performing team.
This is a strategic yet hands-on role, responsible for shaping customer plans, identifying new business opportunities and delivering commercial excellence across key accounts. The successful candidate will bring a strong track record within FMCG, ideally from a branded environment, although exceptional own-label experience will also be considered.

A natural entrepreneur, you'll be comfortable challenging the status quo, spotting opportunities and working collaboratively across the business to deliver results.
The role includes responsibility for the leadership and development of a small commercial team and requires regular presence on site approximately two days per week.
Ideal Background
- FMCG commercial experience, ideally branded food or drink.
- Experience managing major customers such as Iceland, Home Bargains, B&M, Poundland, Farm foods, Heron or similar value retail accounts.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with responsibility for P&L delivery.
- Proven people management and coaching experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and unlock growth opportunities.
- Comfortable operating strategically whilst remaining close to customers and day-to-day delivery.
- Collaborative and relationship-led approach.
