Job Description

About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and visionary Head of Communications to lead our Communications function at Enstone. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for defining and delivering the communications strategy that shapes how our team is perceived by fans, media, partners, employees, and the wider Formula One community.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee all aspects of communications, including Formula One media relations, partner communications, internal communications, digital strategy, and content. You will help drive audience growth, enhance our reputation, support commercial objectives, and ensure our stories are told in a compelling and authentic way.

As part of a fast-paced, ambitious, and high-performing environment, you'll lead a talented team of communications specialists while influencing stakeholders across the organization and throughout the Formula One ecosystem.

The Role of Our Head of Communications

You will set the strategic direction for communications across the business, developing season-long narratives that bring our racing, people, partners, and ambitions to life. From managing global media relationships and supporting senior leaders, to driving digital engagement and leading crisis communications, you'll play a vital role in protecting and enhancing the team's profile on a global stage.

Your Challenge

  • Create and lead the team's short and long-term communications strategy.
  • Develop compelling season-long storytelling and communications campaigns that support racing and business objectives.
  • Lead media relations activity and secure impactful coverage across traditional, digital, and social media platforms.
  • Provide strategic communications support and media guidance to senior leadership and team spokespeople.
  • Oversee crisis communications planning and reputation management activities.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to maximize partner value through communications, content, and media activations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing communications team across media, partner, internal, and digital communications.
  • Build relationships with Formula One stakeholders, governing bodies, partners, and corporate communications teams.
  • Champion internal communications initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and employer brand.
  • Measure communications performance, sentiment, and PR value, using insight to shape future strategy.
  • Own and manage the communications budget effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
