Creator & Community Lead – £80-105k - Consumer Mobile App (Gaming/Online games) - Onsite (5 days, London)
About the Company
We are working with a venture-backed startup that's building a new mobile app category at the intersection of social video and gaming. The app features an endless feed of mini-video games that anyone can build instantly using a single text prompt.
The Role
Your primary goal is to find creative users online, bring them into the app, and turn them into highly active game creators. You will build and manage our core community hub, run weekly events like game jams, and mentor creators to help them level up their content and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Creator Success: Find high-potential creators, teach them how to build popular games, and help them grow at scale.
- Community Building: Build a brand-new hub (currently on Discord) from scratch and grow it into the internet's premier space for game makers.
- Event Programming: Host recurring formats, challenges, and flagship game jams that attract external talent.
- Product Feedback: Act as the strategic link between users and the engineering team to prioritize impactful app features.

Requirements
- From-Zero Growth: Proven track record of building a brand or product community entirely from scratch where no prior demand existed.
- Product Literacy: Past experience working directly with mobile app or software development teams.
- Gaming Background: Deep, genuine personal or professional roots in gaming to connect authentically with game creators.
- Creator Management: Experience running community programming (challenges, leaderboards, digital events) that turns casual users into dedicated creators.
