AXA Partners UK&I - Head of Compliance
AXA Partners UK&I is seeking a dedicated Head of Compliance to drive a strong compliance culture, ensure regulatory adherence, and support our business’s growth and integrity.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the compliance landscape in a dynamic environment, working closely with senior leaders and regulatory bodies to promote transparency, fairness, and excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a high-performing compliance team, fostering a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all compliance activities, ensuring adherence to UK laws and internal policies.
- Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and risk management strategies to safeguard the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, ensuring timely reporting and proactive engagement.
- Provide expert advice on regulatory and conduct requirements, supporting the business to meet evolving standards.
- Drive the compliance agenda across all levels, influencing senior stakeholders and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, preparing the organization for upcoming changes.
- Support the organization in implementing new regulations, ensuring effective and sustainable compliance practices.
- Promote a customer-centric approach, prioritizing good outcomes and reducing potential harm.
- Manage internal reporting, governance, and risk assessments, providing clear insights to leadership.

What You'll Bring
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in compliance, risk, or audit within a regulated financial services or insurance organization.
- Strong understanding of UK and global regulatory frameworks, including insurance products and distribution.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience building and guiding high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical actions.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to fair customer treatment.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to oversee compliance effectiveness across operations.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
