At MotoNovo Finance

We're investing in our future and strengthening our first-line risk capability through the creation of a brand-new Head of Compliance & Regulatory Risk role.

This is a rare opportunity to join the senior leadership team in a role that will have a direct impact on how we embed regulatory excellence, deliver great customer outcomes, and continue our journey towards becoming an even more consumer-focused organisation.

You'll take ownership of MotoNovo's first-line regulatory risk framework, providing expert leadership on compliance, Consumer Duty, product governance and regulatory change across the business. You'll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing strategic decision-making while helping ensure our products, processes and customer journeys meet evolving regulatory expectations. Whilst it currently has no direct reports, you'll play a key role in developing capability across the business and there is potential for the role to expand as our regulatory landscape continues to evolve.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading MotoNovo's first-line regulatory risk strategy and oversight.
  • Providing expert regulatory guidance on products, business change and strategic initiatives.
  • Driving Consumer Duty compliance and championing fair customer outcomes.
  • Translating regulatory developments into practical business actions and influencing implementation plans.
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Risk, Product, Operations, Change, Legal and Compliance.
  • Representing MotoNovo in regulatory discussions, industry forums and occasional interactions with the FCA and other external bodies.
  • Supporting the development of regulatory knowledge and capability across the first line.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
