Role: Head of Computer Science + TLR
Salary: Fringe Pay Scale, MPS/UPS £50,789 to £62,887
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
To Start: January or April 2027 start
Location: Hertfordshire

What Skills and Experience We’re Looking For
- An experienced and enthusiastic leader to lead and develop the Computing/IT department, with a specialism in Computing.
- A strong understanding of Computing education, with the ability to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of KS4 qualifications, including BTECs and GCSEs.
- A passion for developing innovative and effective teaching and learning strategies that inspire students and improve outcomes.
- The ability to lead and develop pedagogy, ensuring all students are supported to make good progress and achieve their full potential.
- A commitment to high standards, ambitious expectations and continuous improvement across the department.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, support and develop colleagues.
- A commitment to inclusive education, ensuring every student is valued, supported and given the opportunity to succeed.
