Up To £130,000pa + Benefits + Hybrid Working

Our client, a top global law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced Qualified Lawyer to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Head of Conflicts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Lawyer with substantial experience in Legal Conflicts to join a firm with offices all over the world and also be responsible for line managing/being the direct report for two Legal Conflicts professionals.

As the successful Head of Conflicts, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Project Management: Lead and successfully deliver on large-scale projects, implementing improvements on conflicts processes and procedures.
  • Training: Providing training to staff and Partners on legal conflicts.
  • Conflict Resolution: Leading on investigations which involve conflicts of interest.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identifying and resolving conflicts of interest and confidentiality issues.
  • Conflict Resolution: Updating Terms of Business when necessary.
  • Team Building/Management: Building and leading a team of Analysts to support the firms risk management and conflict resolution.
  • Team Building/Management: Supervising and line managing those currently running conflict checks.

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

  • Be a Qualified Lawyer (8+ PQE).
  • Have prior/existing experience working as a Conflicts Lawyer.
  • Have prior/existing line management/people management experience.
  • Be able to use Intapp (Open, Walls, etc).
  • Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis.
