Financial Systems Leader

We are looking for a financial systems leader who thrives at the intersection of complex group reporting, technical consolidation, and IT infrastructure. This role will take ownership of our core International Group finance systems—specifically SAP BPC and CXO Software. In this role, you will optimise our monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting processes while serving as the strategic link between Global and International Finance and IT.

  • Permanent: Full-time position reporting to the International Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities

System Management, Strategy & Support

  • System Optimisation: Oversee and maintain BPC and CXO systems to ensure peak performance, integrity, and operational reliability.
  • Upgrades & Integrations: Partner with IT and Finance teams to lead continuous system upgrades, enhancements, and cross-platform integrations.
  • Process & Controls: Develop, test, and deliver system enhancements; document processes and workflows; and maintain strong user access management (UAM) and internal control compliance.
  • User Support: Provide technical support, resolve issues promptly to prevent business disruption, and create training documentation for global users.

Financial Consolidation & Monthly Close

  • System Readiness: Prepare and clear systems for smooth monthly close cycles, annual budgeting, and monthly forecast reporting.
  • FX & Treasury: Manage exchange rate uploads, populate required rate categories, and communicate updates to regional and group reporting teams.
  • Complex Accounting Entries: Calculate and report on Non-Controlling Interests (NCI), Joint Ventures, hyperinflation adjustments, and FP&A capex updates.
  • M&A Financial System Setup: Process balance sheet entries for acquisitions (including valuation entries and amortization), calculate profit/loss on entity disposals, and manage customer intangibles.
  • Automated Eliminations & Reconciliations: Ensure automated elimination entries (investments, share capital, share premium) process accurately, and reconcile key accounts between International and Global systems.
  • Governance: Partner with legal on quarterly entity updates, assign new entity codes, and review posted journals with the Corporate Controller monthly.

What We Are Looking For

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience managing enterprise-level consolidation tools (specifically SAP BPC) and reporting/MI platforms (such as CXO).
  • Good Accounting Foundation: Working knowledge of complex group reporting, multi-currency consolidations, M&A accounting (acquisitions/disposals), hyperinflation, and NCI/JV accounting.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Ability to build strong relationships across regional finance teams, corporate management, and IT departments.
  • Detail-Oriented & Methodical: Strong commitment to internal controls, documentation, system reconciliation, and data accuracy.
