The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Head of Construction and Projects to lead the delivery of our new park developments, refurbishments and capital investment programme.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for managing our internal Project Team and a network of external construction companies, consultants and specialist suppliers. You will oversee projects from initial feasibility and design through to construction, operational handover and opening.

Working closely with our Managing Director, Activeon Group, the Chief Development Officer and UK operational teams, you will ensure every project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop the internal Project Team.
  • Deliver new park developments from feasibility and concept through to completion and opening.
  • Plan and manage the annual CAPEX programme across our existing park network.
  • Procure, appoint and manage construction companies, consultants and specialist suppliers.
  • Maintain oversight of project programmes, budgets, risks, variations and key milestones.
  • Ensure projects meet operational, commercial, customer, brand and safety requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant construction, building, fire, accessibility and health and safety requirements.
  • Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, handover and operational-readiness processes.
  • Provide clear project, cost and risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across Operations, Finance, Health and Safety, Group development teams and external partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
