The launch of Tropicana Brands Group represents an exciting fusion of some of the world's most beloved and up-and-coming brands in the juice category, including Tropicana, Naked, KeVita, Izze, Dole, Copella and Punica. Established in 2022 as a joint venture between PAI Partners and PepsiCo, our new company blends the best of two worlds: one steeped in industry-leading expertise and the heritage of prestige juice brands, and another rooted in a true entrepreneurial, agile mindset!
We are looking for an experienced Head of Consumer Insight Europe to drive a deep understanding of consumers across our portfolio of brands, including Tropicana, Naked, and Copella.
Role Purpose
This role will be responsible for developing and leading our consumer insight agenda, uncovering the motivations, attitudes, behaviours, and unmet needs that influence purchase decisions and brand engagement. The successful candidate will transform consumer data into actionable commercial recommendations, helping shape brand strategy, innovation, communications, portfolio decisions, and growth opportunities.
The role combines strategic thinking, behavioural science, consumer research expertise, data analytics, and stakeholder influence to ensure the consumer remains at the centre of decision-making.
Your Next Pour: The Opportunity & Key Responsibilities
Consumer Understanding & Insight Generation
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of consumer behaviours, attitudes, motivations, occasions, and decision-making processes across beverage categories.
- Identify emerging consumer trends, cultural shifts, and changing consumption habits.
- Build robust consumer segmentation frameworks and behavioural profiles.
- Lead projects that uncover unmet needs and opportunities for growth.
- In partnership with R&D and Global Insights, qualify new product innovations from idea through forecast
- Prepare functional insights plan and budget
- Translate consumer understanding into clear recommendations for brand, innovation, and commercial teams.

Consumer Research Leadership
- Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research programmes.
- Select and manage external research agencies and specialist partners.
- Lead situation and trends assessment for annual operating plan
- Lead methodologies including: Ethnographic research, Consumer immersions, In-home usage studies, Focus groups, Online communities, Social listening, Behavioural science studies, Quantitative surveys, Conjoint analysis, Sensory evaluation
Insight Tracking & Measurement
- Optimize and manage ongoing consumer insight tracking programmes.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor: Brand perceptions, Consumer sentiment, Awareness and consideration, Purchase drivers, Consumption occasions, Loyalty and advocacy and Consumer trends...
- Integrate multiple data sources including panel data, shopper data, first-party data, social listening, and market research. Be leading in utilising AI.
Strategic Business Partnering
- Partner with Brand Marketing, Global Insights, Innovation, Category Management, Commercial, Digital, and Leadership teams.
- Influence business strategy through evidence-based consumer recommendations.
- Support innovation pipelines with consumer-led opportunity identification.
- Provide consumer perspectives to product development and renovation initiatives.
- Act as the internal voice of the consumer.

Consumer Intelligence & Analytics
- Combine behavioural, attitudinal, transactional, and digital data to build a holistic understanding of consumers.
- Identify patterns, growth opportunities, and risks using advanced analytics.
- Leverage AI-enabled insight tools where appropriate.
- Drive predictive understanding of future consumer needs and behaviours.
The Perfect Blend: Experience
- Significant experience in Consumer Insights, Consumer Research, Shopper Insights, Customer Insights, Market Research, or Consumer Intelligence.
- Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, food and beverage, retail, or consumer-focused organisations
- Collaborative leadership style
- Growth mindset and continuous learning orientation
- Advanced degree in Business, Economics, or Social Science
- Experience establishing and managing brand and consumer tracking studies.
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour theory and decision-making frameworks
- Experience with platforms such as: NielsenIQ, Kantar, Circana, Numerator, Ipsos, PowerBI…
