The Head of Consumer Risk will play a critical role in the second line management of Home Ownership products. You will be joining our small, highly skilled team, who are committed to making positive changes in how the direct customer is impacted on past and present interventions.
This is a rare chance to gain experience with a unique customer product offering that seeks to balance a return of money back to the public purse while ensuring customer fairness.
Job Description
The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects around Home Ownership. There are some ambitious delivery-led projects to get involved with, especially within account management, and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day-to-day delivery while bringing innovative solutions to the consumer offering.

Person specification
The day job will ensure Risk principles and adherence are followed, with significant focus on ensuring responsible stakeholders are balancing the needs and demands of the consumer. You will be comfortable supporting an operational-led banking proposition with complex consumer issues, aiming to return money back into the public purse and ensuring customer conduct remains paramount. You will be proficient in Operational risk in a financial service setting, understand the Regulatory environment, and always champion the customer across treatments and interactions.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level, and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as a team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun, and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
As an experienced Risk professional, you’ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
