We're looking for a writer.
Not a content marketer. Not someone who just manages a content calendar.
A writer who's obsessed with what's happening in the world. Someone who follows the news, spots trends, has strong opinions and knows how to turn a good story into great content.
You'll lead editorial content across our brands, creating commentary, insights and thought leadership that people genuinely want to read.
The right person will probably have a background in journalism, publishing, editorial or content. More importantly, you'll be naturally curious and constantly looking for the next story.
What you'll do
- Identify stories, trends and market developments worth talking about
- Create content around breaking news, industry developments and topical issues
- Write thought leadership, opinion pieces, features, reports and insights
- Work with business leaders to turn expertise into compelling content
- Help shape the editorial direction of our brands
- Ensure we're part of the conversations that matter in our markets
- Raise the quality and impact of content across the business

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
