About the Function:
Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world.
With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.
It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.
Purpose of the Role
In the Marketing Operations & MarTech team, the Content team builds the AI-powered tools, capabilities and processes that help Diageo marketers plan, create, adapt, approve, store and reuse content more effectively and efficiently.
The Head of Content Planning & Op Model is the senior product owner for the Content Planning & Briefing Platform and owns the definition of the end-to-end content operating model. The role combines hands-on product management with the strategic and operational expertise needed to define how content fits into the broader marketing operating model across Category & GBTs, markets and regional hubs. It also assesses how the Planning & Briefing Platform should connect with the Connected Marketing OS and the wider content product suite.
Key Accountabilities
- Own the product roadmap, requirements, configuration and adoption of the Content Planning & Briefing Platform.
- Assess and shape how the Planning & Briefing Platform should integrate with Connected Marketing OS, Virtual Content Studio and Libraries to create a simple, sustainable end-to-end workflow.
- Configure and improve demand intake, planning, briefing, routing, approvals, dashboards and status tracking for content work.
- Design the end-to-end content operating model with the broader Marketing Operations team, defining roles, timelines, governance, decisions and hand-offs across GBTs, regions and markets.
- Lead rollout and adoption of the platform and operating model, using data and user feedback to remove bottlenecks, simplify execution and improve the experience.
- Manage technology partners and vendors supporting platform configuration, product enhancements, integrations, process design and change delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
