I’m working exclusively with a high-growth, specialist recruitment business that is looking to appoint a Head of Contract / Divisional Contract Director to take ownership of and scale its US Data Centre, Power & Renewables contract division.

This is a senior leadership appointment for someone who has already demonstrated they can build, bill and lead at a high level.

We’re not looking for someone who simply manages a contract desk.

We’re looking for a commercial recruitment leader who can take an established market proposition, win major accounts, build a high-performing team and ultimately create a market-leading Contract division.

The Opportunity

You will take significant ownership of the Contract business, with responsibility across:

  • Leading and scaling the US Contract division
  • Developing and executing the divisional growth strategy
  • Winning and expanding major US accounts
  • Building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Recruiting, developing and retaining high-performing consultants
  • Establishing a scalable contract recruitment infrastructure
  • Driving revenue, margin and headcount growth
  • Developing new markets across the US Data Centre, Power & Renewables ecosystem
  • Working closely with the wider Group leadership team
  • Taking a genuine leadership position in the future direction of the business

You will have the backing, investment and autonomy to build something substantial rather than simply inheriting a desk and being asked to maintain it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We're Looking For

This is a role for a proven Contract recruitment leader. Ideally, you'll have:

  • A demonstrable track record of £500k–£1m+ annual billings
  • Significant experience building and managing Contract recruitment desks/divisions
  • Strong experience within US recruitment

  • A proven ability to win and grow major client accounts
  • Experience hiring, mentoring and developing recruitment consultants
  • Strong commercial understanding of contract recruitment, margins and delivery
  • The ambition to build something rather than simply inherit something
  • The gravitas and credibility to operate with senior clients and at Group Board level

You don't necessarily need to have operated across every part of the Data Centre, Power & Renewables market.

What matters is that you understand high-value contract recruitment, know how to build a business and have the commercial track record to prove it.

The Package

The business is prepared to offer a package designed for someone operating at this level.

  • Market-leading London basic salary, Flexible for an exceptional individual.
  • Bespoke, uncapped commission structure, Designed around your individual contribution and the growth of the division — not a standard off-the-shelf recruitment commission plan.
  • Share options, With a clearly defined 3–4 year growth and exit strategy, giving you the opportunity to participate directly in the value you help create.
  • Group Board exposure, This isn't a title-only leadership role. The successful individual will have a genuine seat at the table and influence over wider Group strategy.
  • US relocation opportunity, For the right individual, there is potential to relocate to the US as the division develops.
  • Hybrid working, A flexible hybrid model with a London-based headquarters.
  • Significant investment and backing, You'll have the resources, infrastructure and investment required to build a serious Contract operation.

Why This Role?

There are plenty of recruitment leadership positions where you're given a number, a team and a desk and told to deliver.

This isn't one of them.

This is an opportunity to own a business unit.

You'll have the ability to shape the proposition, influence strategy, build the team, win the accounts and ultimately share in the value created.

The long-term objective is to establish this as a market-leading US Contract recruitment business within the Data Centre, Power & Renewables space.

For the right person, this could become significantly more than a recruitment management position.

Interested?

If you're currently a Contract Director, Head of Contract, Divisional Manager, Contract Recruitment Director or senior billing leader with a proven track record and are interested in building something with genuine equity upside, I'd be keen to speak.

All conversations will be treated in the strictest confidence.
