Senior Conveyancer / Head of Conveyancing

West Sussex | £55,000 - £65,000 + Performance Incentives

A respected and long-established South Coast law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer to lead the development of its residential conveyancing offering.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a department with a genuine clean slate. There are no inherited problems, no significant backlog, and no dysfunctional systems to overcome. Instead, you will have the autonomy and support to build a modern, efficient conveyancing function while maintaining a strong focus on client service.

The Opportunity

This role will appeal to an ambitious conveyancer who enjoys both fee earning and leadership responsibilities.

  • Working closely with the firm's Principal, you will play a key role in shaping processes, refining workflows, maintaining compliance standards and helping determine the future structure of the team.
  • The firm offers a supportive, professional environment with strong local connections, loyal clients, and established relationships within the property market.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
