At GreenSquareAccord, our ambition is to be a simpler, stronger and better organisation, delivering great homes and services for our customers and communities. Strong financial leadership is fundamental to achieving that ambition, ensuring we have the capacity, resilience and resources to invest for the future.
We are now looking for an exceptional Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury to join our Financial Strategy leadership team and play a key role in shaping the long-term financial future of GreenSquareAccord.
About the role
As the Group's senior corporate finance leader, you will be responsible for ensuring our long-term financial strength, resilience and capacity. You will lead the development and delivery of our financial strategy, business planning, treasury management and financial risk framework, ensuring that we have the funding and financial capacity required to deliver our corporate plan and strategic ambitions.
Working closely with the Executive Team, Board and Committees, you will provide strategic insight, constructive challenge and assurance across financial performance, investment decisions, funding strategy, capital allocation and emerging financial risks. You will bring together financial planning, treasury, investment appraisal and risk management to provide clear recommendations that support confident and sustainable decision-making.
You will lead our financial planning, forecasting and modelling framework, alongside the development and delivery of our Treasury Strategy. This will include oversight of borrowing, refinancing, securitisation, liquidity, cash management and interest rate risk, as well as maintaining strong relationships with funders, investors, advisers and other key stakeholders.
The role will also provide strategic financial leadership across development, regeneration, asset management and commercial investment. You will ensure major investment decisions are financially robust, aligned with our capacity and risk appetite, and deliver value for money and strong strategic outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
