About the Company
We are partnering with one of the UK’s leading financial planning firms to appoint an experienced Head of Corporate Solutions to lead and grow its corporate advice channel. The business is a trusted financial planning partner to individuals, families, trustees and businesses across the UK, supporting thousands of clients each year with expert advice and long-term financial planning.
About the Role
Head of Corporate Solutions
Permanent | Hybrid – Farnborough/London (1 day per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £85,000 depending on experience + discretionary bonus
This is a senior, commercially focused leadership role with responsibility for the growth, profitability and development of the Corporate Solutions channel. You will lead a team of consultants, oversee key corporate relationships and identify opportunities to expand the organisation’s presence within the corporate market. As the market-facing leader, you will take ownership of the corporate advice proposition, ensuring it continues to evolve in line with changing client expectations, market opportunities and regulatory requirements. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will play an influential role in shaping the future strategy of the channel, driving commercial performance and delivering consistently excellent client outcomes.
Responsibilities
Leadership & commercial performance
- Lead, develop and grow the Corporate Solutions channel, with accountability for commercial performance, profitability and overall results.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team, monitor performance and ensure agreed targets are achieved.
- Create a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on client outcomes, commercial success and continuous improvement.
- Lead regular performance reviews, appraisals and development conversations, providing effective coaching and support to consultants.
- Work closely with the Customer Director, Financial Planning and Corporate, and other senior stakeholders to shape and deliver the channel strategy.

- Own and develop relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring high levels of service, engagement and retention.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with corporate prospects and introducers.
- Drive the growth of the corporate proposition by identifying new markets, opportunities and routes to market.
- Ensure the organisation consistently delivers a high-quality client experience and builds long-term, trusted relationships.
Proposition development
- Take ownership of the corporate advice proposition, continually reviewing and enhancing its proposition, processes and client offering.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the corporate financial planning and employee benefits market, including emerging trends, competitor activity and evolving client needs.
- Work with internal teams to improve systems, processes and service standards, ensuring the channel remains competitive and commercially effective.
Compliance, risk & governance
- Ensure advice and written recommendations meet the organisation’s suitability standards, regulatory requirements and appropriate authorisation levels.
- Maintain strong oversight of Training & Competence requirements, ensuring mandatory activities and CPD obligations are completed effectively.
- Apply robust risk management controls to minimise regulatory, conduct and compensation risks.
- Ensure the team operates in line with FCA requirements, Consumer Duty and internal policies and procedures.
- Produce accurate and timely management information, reporting on KPIs, performance and financial contribution.
Stakeholder management
- Build effective relationships across the wider organisation, working collaboratively with other departments to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients and the business.
- Act as a senior representative of the Corporate Solutions channel, influencing stakeholders and contributing to wider business strategy.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership, colleagues, clients and external partners.

We’re looking for an experienced commercial leader who combines financial services expertise, strong business development capability and a genuine passion for developing people and client propositions.
- Proven experience leading and growing a corporate financial planning, wealth management or employee benefits business.
- A strong track record of delivering commercial results, including revenue growth, new business generation and profitability.
- Experience developing and evolving client propositions in response to changing market and client needs.
- Excellent business development and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to win, retain and grow corporate client relationships.
- Strong leadership experience, including coaching and developing advisers or consultants and creating a high-performance culture.
- A strong understanding of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty, Training & Competence and risk management within a regulated financial services environment.
- Excellent strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and shape business strategy.
- A commercially minded and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and turn them into sustainable growth.
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes while maintaining high standards of compliance, governance and professional integrity.
Pay range and compensation package
In addition to a competitive salary of up to £85,000, depending on experience, you’ll receive:
