Ready to shape the next chapter of the Buro Happold brand? We're seeking an exceptional creative leader to drive visual excellence, champion innovation, and influence how our brand is experienced across international markets.

This person can be based in Bath or London on a hybrid working model.

At Buro Happold, we create solutions that have a positive impact on people, places and the planet. As a global consultancy of engineers, designers and advisers, we work on some of the world's most complex and influential projects.

We're looking for an experienced and inspiring Head of Creative & Visuals to lead our global creative function and elevate how our brand, expertise and stories are brought to life across every touchpoint. Reporting to our Chief Marketing & Brand Officer and forming part of the Marketing Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual expression of the Buro Happold brand internationally.

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic creative leader who combines commercial awareness, exceptional design judgement, and a passion for storytelling.

What You'll Be Doing

As Head of Creative & Visuals, you'll lead our multidisciplinary in-house creative studio, overseeing graphic design, visualisation, photography and videography. You'll work in close partnership with colleagues across marketing, communications and technical teams to transform complex ideas into compelling visual narratives.

Key responsibilities include:

Creative Leadership & Campaign Delivery

  • Lead the creative direction for major global marketing campaigns.
  • Develop engaging concepts and storytelling across digital, print, video and experiential channels.
  • Champion creative excellence, innovation and best practice throughout the business.

Brand Stewardship

  • Own and evolve Buro Happold's visual identity and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure a consistent, impactful and differentiated brand presence across markets and sectors.
  • Act as the firm's senior creative authority, advising stakeholders and external partners on creative direction and brand expression.

Thought Leadership & Content Design

  • Collaborate with content and thought leadership teams to transform complex research and insight into visually compelling publications.
  • Oversee the creation of reports, infographics, visual storytelling assets and data visualisations.
  • Ensure content is accessible, engaging and aligned with our brand narrative.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
