Head of Creative Strategy - Football Culture and Branded Content

Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office

We are partnering with a culturally influential football and sports media brand to appoint a Head of Creative Strategy. The business sits where football meets music, fashion, gaming, entertainment and youth culture, helping major brands connect credibly with the next generation of fans.

This is a senior, hands-on role for a strategic thinker and exceptional storyteller who can turn cultural insight and client ambition into pitch-winning creative platforms, branded content and partnerships.

The remit

  • Own creative strategy across branded content, partnerships and priority pitches.
  • Nurture and develop the capabilities and skills of a team of Creative Strategists under your wing.
  • Turn brand objectives and audience insight into distinctive strategic territories and executable ideas.
  • Lead briefs from discovery and ideation through deck development and senior client presentation.
  • Identify emerging opportunities across global football, Gen Z culture, talent and digital platforms.
  • Set the creative quality bar and connect commercial, editorial, creative and production teams.
  • Build smarter processes, coach talent and grow the strategic capability of the business.
  • Strengthen pitch conversion, client relationships and proactive commercial propositions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
