About Nero
Nero makes premium men's activewear from natural, plastic-free fabric. Zero polyester, zero microplastics. Our customers are founders, executives and athletes in NYC, LA, Austin and Miami, men who read labels and buy the best. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and growing fast.
The Role
You'll build Nero's creator engine from zero and own it end to end. The mission: get as many of the right creators as possible making content for Nero, and turn the best of it into partnership ads that sell. This is a performance channel. Delivered footage isn't the outcome, winning ads are.
This is not a team-management role. You are the engine. You'll source, pitch, negotiate, brief, chase and close, then we scale a team under you once it's working.
What you'll do
- Source and close creators across many audience archetypes, such as founders, luxury menswear, bio-hackers, high-performing professionals etc.
- Negotiate usage and whitelisting rights into every deal, upfront
- Write the briefs. A hundred creators producing rubbish content is worth nothing; the brief is what separates a skippable ad from one that runs. You'll turn our hooks and archetypes into briefs that get native, scroll-stopping content out of every creator.
- Live in the algorithm. You watch Reels and TikTok like it's your job (it will be), you know why things go viral this month, you spot formats before they peak, and you'll build a running library of references and winning formats around Nero
- Run our customer seeding programme, the cheapest and most credible creator channel.
- Own the pipeline from first outreach to live ad: tracking, follow-ups, payments, delivery
- Work with our creative team on which cuts to test, and feed performance learnings back into who we source and what we brief
- Launch our Trybe program
- Coordinate shoots and in-person content where needed
- Build the processes as you go, creator pool, rates, contracts, workflow

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we are looking for

Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
- 2+ years in creator partnerships, influencer marketing or UGC for DTC/eCommerce brands, you understand the full journey from outreach to delivered ad
- You've negotiated whitelisting and usage rights before and know what good terms look like
- You can write outreach that founders and busy professionals actually reply to, a chunk of this job is closer to sales than sourcing
- You understand performance creative: hooks, cold vs warm traffic, why some UGC converts and most doesn't
- Strong taste, you can tell which creators fit a premium brand and which would cheapen it
- Highly organised, self-directed, comfortable owning a channel alone in a lean remote team
- Bonus: you've worked with premium/luxury positioning, or in men's health, fitness or menswear
