Head of Credit Operations

πŸ“ London | Hybrid (4 days in the office)

About Elect Capital

Elect Capital is changing how SMEs access funding. We provide fast, flexible working capital loans, business loans, and merchant cash advances β€” no red tape, no slow decisions. Live across the UK, Australia, Canada, and the US, and scaling fast, we give SMEs the speed and flexibility traditional lenders can't.

Our Mission

We exist to give SMEs the capital and confidence to grow β€” fast, fair, and friction-free. Every ambitious business deserves a real shot at growth, not months of paperwork. We've built lending for speed, without cutting corners on fairness. When SMEs win, we win.

The Role

This is a newly created role with end-to-end operational ownership of the lending function β€” spanning the full loan lifecycle from application scrubbing through underwriting to post-approval prepping. The Head of Credit Operations will manage and develop the teams responsible for each stage and act as the operational backbone connecting sales, risk, and funding.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
