Head of Culture and Change
The Law Society of Scotland is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to become its Head of Culture and Change. This is an opportunity to shape how the organisation approaches transformation, ensuring change is successfully adopted and embedded while strengthening culture, engagement, organisational readiness and resilience.
About the Role
The Society is the professional body and regulator for over 13,000 Scottish solicitors. It sets and upholds professional standards, protects consumers and promotes confidence in Scotland’s legal profession.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations, the Head of Culture and Change will play a central role in supporting the Society through a significant period of organisational evolution. The role will provide strategic leadership for the people and cultural aspects of transformation, helping to build organisational capacity for change and ensuring colleagues are prepared, supported and empowered to embrace new ways of working.

Requirements
- Significant senior management experience of leading organisation-wide change, culture, engagement or transformation activity
- Strong strategic planning and organisational skills
- Excellent influencing, facilitation and relationship-building capabilities
- The credibility to advise and challenge senior leaders
- Ability to navigate complexity
- Use evidence and insight to shape interventions
- Deliver sustainable outcomes through others
