About the Role
You are the single person accountable for getting each new curriculum area out of the door: on time, to specification and to budget. You are the project manager for every new vertical, from sizing and costing it through to publication on the platform, and you own the quality of what ships.
This is an educational production and project management role. It is not a marketing, SEO, journalism, editorial or exam board role, and you will not be writing the questions yourself.
Expect three or four programmes in production at once, across unrelated subjects, some with existing authors and some needing a subject network, a brief and a workflow built from nothing. You will need to be exceptionally organised, exacting on detail, and comfortable saying that something cannot be done in the time available if it compromises quality.
You will report to the CEO, sit on the leadership team, manage a small in-house team and hold your own freelance budget.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Delivery plan for every new curriculum area: scope, schedule, budget, milestones and risks, run in Linear with stage gates and visible to the whole business.
- Sizing and costing each programme before we commit, and saying plainly what is achievable.
- Author network: finding, testing, briefing and managing freelance subject specialists in each subject, including from scratch.
- Quality standard: owning the review process so every question is correct, on specification and consistent, and fixing the process when something slips through.
- Production workflow: running a repeatable process, including AI-assisted drafting, tagging and first-pass checks, so each new programme follows the same system.
- Protecting delivery on the core 11+ business while new programmes are built.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you'll bring
- Experience delivering learning resources or exam practice material for an educational publisher or edtech company, accountable for delivery rather than authorship.
- A track record of running several production projects at once and landing them on time, to spec and to budget.

- Experience commissioning and managing freelance authors and subject specialists, including building a network in a subject you did not know.
- A quality assurance mindset and a high tolerance for detail at volume.
- Practical experience using AI and automation tools (Claude, n8n or equivalents) inside a production workflow.
