At DHL Supply Chain Finished Vehicle Solutions, we don't just move vehicles, we manage some of the automotive industry's most complex and high-profile supply chains. As Head of Customer Accounts, you'll sit at the heart of strategic customer partnerships, leading relationships with major automotive manufacturers, leasing businesses and vehicle brands, ensuring every interaction delivers outstanding service, commercial value and long-term growth. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll influence business strategy, shape customer experiences and play a pivotal part in the future success of our FVS operation.

Working alongside operational, commercial and senior leadership teams, you'll drive innovation across vehicle logistics and automotive solutions, lead critical customer forums and help deliver market-leading service across one of DHL's most exciting and dynamic sectors. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Building trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, acting as their go-to contact for challenges, opportunities and strategic discussions.
- Proactively managing customer escalations, resolving issues before they reach senior leadership and ensuring positive outcomes for all parties.
- Working closely with operational teams on-site to understand current challenges, drive improvements and ensure customer commitments are delivered.
- Supporting complex vehicle movements, specialist transport requirements and bespoke customer requests across the UK and internationally.
- Leading monthly and quarterly business reviews, turning performance data into meaningful conversations and future-focused action plans.
- Collaborating with Solutions Design, Operations and Business Development teams to support new customer implementations, tenders and growth opportunities.
- Reviewing contracts, commercial agreements and service requirements to ensure compliance whilst protecting DHL's interests.
- Acting as the vital link between customers and DHL, balancing customer expectations with operational realities to deliver long-term partnership success.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Enjoy building trusted relationships and becoming the person customers rely upon when it matters most.
- Are equally comfortable in a boardroom discussion and walking an operational site to understand what is really happening.
- Have previous account management or customer relationship management experience and enjoy owning customer outcomes, automotive experience would be advantageous.
- Thrive on solving problems, managing escalations and finding solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams through to senior customer leaders.
- Have strong organisational skills and enjoy balancing multiple priorities, projects and customer requirements simultaneously.
- Understand commercial agreements, contracts and service commitments, and know how to navigate complex customer relationships.
- Are looking for a role that offers real visibility, development opportunities and a pathway into more senior customer leadership positions.
