N.B. This role must start no later than the beginning of October, 2026.

About Flash Pack:

When was the last time you made a new friend? The quality of your relationships is the single most important factor for your mental health. Travel has a unique ability to fast-forward the friendship-making process, which is why we’re on a mission to create one million meaningful friendships using the power of travel and technology as a platform for human connection.

We create curated social adventures for solo travellers in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Since launching in 2014, we’ve seen impressive year-on-year growth and become the category leader in a thriving, rapidly expanding market with the majority of our business now in the US.

We’re well-funded, we’ve shaken up an outdated industry, and we see ourselves as a friendship company far more than a travel company. Our culture is down-to-earth, hard-working and compassionate, built by exceptional people who care deeply about doing work we’re proud of.

You can find out more about our culture and life at Flash Pack here.

The Role:

We’re looking for a strategic and performance-driven Head of CX Growth (Sales) to lead Flash Pack’s global sales function and drive revenue and new customer growth across our pre-booking funnel. This is a mat-cover role for 12 months, starting no later than October 2026.

You’ll lead an international team of Travel Experts across multiple timezones, converting prospective customers into bookings through live chat, phone, email, and outbound channels.

This isn’t a caretaker role; you’ll have full autonomy and genuine creative license to reimagine how we sell - from building out an entirely new community-led approach to driving sales, to lifting performance across every channel and every stage of the funnel, from those who have just discovered the brand through to ultra-repeats ready to book again. You’ll define the strategy, build out your team as you require, test new ideas and partner with teams across the business to accelerate conversion (CVR) at every touch point.

You’ll combine commercial acumen with empathetic leadership - driving outcomes through clear direction, coaching, and data-driven insight - while championing the customer experience and scaling a world-class sales culture. If you're a commercially sharp, people-first leader who wants the freedom to build something, this is your role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

In line with our salary framework, the salary for this role is £74,900 to £82,000 depending on experience. This is a remote-flexible role based in the UK. We meet as a team every 6-8 weeks, and the rest of the time you can work remotely in-country.

Where you’ll spend your time:

  • Owning performance: Lead and grow the Pre-Booking sales team to consistently exceed CVR targets across all lead and customer types.
  • Driving strategy: Define and execute the sales roadmap - channel optimisation, outbound development, and partnership with teams across the business to improve conversion at every opportunity.
  • Improving systems: Collaborate with finance, tech and RevOps teams to enhance workflows, dashboards, and conversion reporting, ensuring insights directly inform daily decisions.
  • Developing people: Coach Team Leads and Travel Experts, build clear progression pathways, and foster a high-accountability, high-support culture.
  • Experimenting and scaling: Test new sales motions (community forums, webinars, live content plays, AI tools) to improve lead engagement and booking velocity.
  • Representing the function: Communicate performance narratives, forecasts, and learnings to senior leadership, shaping company-wide commercial strategy.

What we’d love to see from you:

  • A proven track record leading high-performing B2C or hybrid B2c + B2B sales teams in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
  • Strong commercial instincts and analytical ability - you understand funnel metrics, can diagnose CVR shifts, and translate data into actionable plans.
  • Expertise in managing multi-channel sales (phone, chat, email, outbound) with clear operational playbooks.
  • Experience partnering with RevOps/Marketing/Tech teams to improve lead quality scoring models, and conversion tracking, as well as understanding shifts in the pipeline and how to optimize and drive more high quality leads in through lifecycle efforts.
  • Deep coaching and people-leadership capability; you build cultures that balance empathy and accountability.
  • Strategic mindset - comfortable zooming out to define direction and zooming in to execute when needed.
  • Strong communication and influence skills across all levels; able to secure alignment without hierarchy.
  • Experience building or managing communities (private members' clubs, tiered membership programmes, ambassador networks) would be a real bonus.
  • Someone willing to roll their sleeves up when their team needs it - no job is too small for them.
  • Passion for travel, storytelling, and human connection - you resonate with Flash Pack’s mission and brand.
  • Adaptability—thrives in a high-growth, evolving environment where no two weeks look the same.
