Cavis is building a high-performing, data-led lead-generation and intake operation within the UK claims sector. We are looking for a commercially minded Head of Data Management to own the quality, structure, flow and governance of the data that powers our growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will build the data foundations behind our lead journeys, contact-centre operations, CRM, reporting and law-firm handoffs. You will make sure our teams have reliable information, leaders have trusted MI, and our systems are designed with security, privacy and compliance in mind.

The role

You will own Cavis’s data-management strategy and its practical delivery across the business. Working closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance and Marketing, you will create a single, dependable view of leads and operational performance.

You will be comfortable moving between data architecture, API integrations, process design, data quality and executive reporting. You will not simply report on problems. You will design the systems and controls that prevent them.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the company-wide data-management strategy, standards and roadmap.
  • Own CRM data architecture, including lead, contact, case, referral and outcome data models.
  • Build and oversee integrations between CRM, telephony, lead sources, marketing platforms, middleware, reporting tools and external partners.
  • Establish robust processes for data ingestion, validation, matching, de-duplication, enrichment, retention and deletion.
  • Ensure lead data is correctly captured, routed, qualified, tracked and securely handed off to law-firm partners.
  • Create clear, accurate management information covering lead source, contact rates, acceptance and rejection outcomes, agent performance, conversion and partner performance.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that give leadership timely, actionable insight.
  • Implement strong data governance, access controls, auditability and data-quality monitoring appropriate for a regulated business handling sensitive personal information.
  • Partner with Compliance to support data-protection, record-keeping and operational-control requirements.
  • Set standards for API integrations, event tracking, documentation, monitoring and error handling.
  • Reduce manual processes, spreadsheet dependency and inconsistent reporting.
  • Build and lead the data-management capability as Cavis grows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
