About Us
Founded in Dubai only 4 short years ago, and we're already growing internationally. Humantra is a global wellness brand on a mission to help people achieve optimal hydration and unlock their best daily performance. We believe hydration is the most overlooked foundation of health, energy, and mental clarity. Our electrolyte solutions are designed to support modern lifestyles - whether that's training, travelling, working, or simply getting through a busy day.
The Opportunity
Humantra is scaling fast across international markets, and we are looking for our first Head of Data to build the data capability required for our next stage of growth. As the business becomes bigger and more complex, we need to ensure our data is trusted, accessible and turned into information and insight that helps us make better decisions, improve performance and create value.
Reporting into the COO, you will own Humantra’s Data strategy across four core areas: Data Foundations & Governance, Analytics & Business Intelligence, Data Platform & Technology, and AI.
This is a highly hands-on leadership role. You will think strategically about the capability Humantra needs for the future while being comfortable getting into the detail and building what is needed today. You will partner closely with the COO, SLT, Technology and leaders across every function, ensuring data and AI are shaping the decisions that matter.
Initially, the focus will be on building strong foundations - understanding how information is created, captured, defined, stored and shared across Humantra - while solving real business problems and improving the quality of the information people rely on every day.
This is a pivotal role in Humantra’s next phase of growth: an opportunity to build our Data capability from the ground up and fundamentally improve how we understand, operate and grow the business.
What you'll own
Data Strategy & Leadership
- Set and own Humantra’s Data strategy, translating our business ambitions into a clear roadmap for how we produce, manage and use data.
- Partner closely with the COO, SLT and leaders across the business to understand the decisions they need to make and where better data, information and AI could materially improve performance.
- Assess Humantra’s current data landscape - what we have, how it is created, where it sits, how it flows and where the biggest gaps and opportunities exist.
- Establish clear principles for how Humantra produces, manages and uses data, balancing strong foundations and scalability with the pace and pragmatism of a rapidly growing business.
- Act as the senior advisor on data and AI, ensuring both are embedded in key business and technology decisions.
- Build the Data function as we scale, determining the right capability, structure and resources for each stage of growth.
Data Foundations, Governance & Quality
- Build the foundations that allow Humantra to trust and use its data effectively, establishing clear ownership, standards and accountability for critical data across the organisation.
- Map Humantra’s critical data, systems, sources and flows, including how information is captured and handed between teams, identifying duplication, fragmentation and gaps.
- Develop a common business language and data dictionary, agreeing consistent definitions for the metrics, terminology and data points that matter most to Humantra.
- Establish clear sources of truth and improve the processes and handoffs that produce our most important information, ensuring it is captured once and can be used confidently across the business.
- Build a lightweight and effective data governance and quality framework covering accuracy, completeness, consistency, metadata, classification, privacy and security.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Raise the quality and effectiveness of reporting and analytics across Humantra, ensuring leaders and teams have access to trusted information that helps them make better and faster decisions.
- Partner with teams across Commercial, Marketing, Ecommerce, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and other functions to understand their reporting needs and opportunities to use data more effectively.
- Identify manual reporting, duplicated work and spreadsheet-heavy processes that can be simplified, automated or replaced with more scalable solutions.
- Establish consistent definitions and standards across dashboards and reporting so teams are working from the same numbers and sources of truth.
- Support teams in improving dashboards in the near term while building towards a scalable, self-service analytics environment.
- Build meaningful company-level reporting that gives the COO and SLT visibility of the metrics and drivers that matter most to Humantra’s performance.
Data Platform & Technology
- Own the data platform, selecting pragmatic technology that fits the scale we are at today and can grow with us.
- Design how our systems connect and how information moves between them, working closely with Technology partners to ensure data captured in one place is available where it is needed.
- Build and maintain reliable integrations and data pipelines across our commercial, operational and finance systems.
- Ensure the platform is secure, well documented, scalable and cost-effective, with clear standards for access, retention, privacy and security.
- Own the build-or-buy decisions that shape our data capability, selecting solutions based on business outcomes rather than preference for a particular vendor or platform.
Artificial Intelligence
- Own where AI is applied across Humantra, identifying the work where it can make a material difference and prioritising opportunities based on the value they create.
- Establish clear boundaries for where AI should and should not be used, particularly across decisions, data and processes that require human judgement.
- Set clear standards for AI outputs, including accuracy, review and the evidence required before outputs are relied upon for business decisions.
- Build Humantra’s capability to use AI effectively, giving teams the tools, training and working practices to apply it confidently in their day-to-day work.
- Ensure AI is built on trusted data and used responsibly in line with Humantra’s data governance, privacy and security standards.

- Experience improving analytics, reporting and business intelligence, with evidence of using data to drive better commercial and operational decisions.

- Experience working closely with Founders, COOs and senior leadership teams, with the ability to translate between business requirements and technical solutions.
