Company Description

FundSense is a specialist platform focused on automating asset management operations through governed, golden-source product data and a controlled operational architecture. The FundSense iD data foundation manages thousands of structured product data points across the investment lifecycle, aligning them with industry standards and regulatory templates such as EMT, EPT, EET, and openfunds. Operating on this robust data layer, FundSense automates workflows, validations, and document creation for product data management, regulatory disclosures, distributor templates, and lifecycle events. By shifting control upstream into data governance and operational design, clients reduce reconciliation efforts, shorten reporting cycles, and gain full audit traceability. The result is a more resilient operating model where automation supports scale, regulatory change, and product innovation.

Role Description

Based in UK or Europe

Data Strategy and FundSense iD

  • Own and evolve FundSense’s data strategy, translating the company vision and client needs into clear priorities for data operations and the continued development of FundSense iD.
  • Shape FundSense iD as the governed foundational data layer underpinning workflows, automation, reporting, document solutions and AI capabilities across the platform.
  • Define scalable approaches for managing fund, share class, product and reference data across clients, vendors, administrators and industry templates.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen FundSense’s data capabilities through improved models, mappings, integrations, reconciliation and automation.
  • Establish clear measures for data quality, timeliness, completeness, operational efficiency and client value.

Data Governance and Operational Design

  • Lead the design and continued evolution of FundSense’s operational data governance framework, including ownership, lineage, controls, approvals and auditability.
  • Oversee data quality, validation, reconciliation and exception management processes, ensuring issues are prioritised, resolved and used to drive continuous improvement.
  • Define structured data models, mapping standards, business rules and operational practices that support consistent reuse across the FundSense platform.
  • Design scalable workflows and controls for data ingestion, normalisation, enrichment, maintenance and dissemination across internal and third-party systems.
  • Ensure changes to data points, mappings and templates are assessed, governed, tested and communicated effectively.
  • Use root-cause analysis and operational insight to reduce manual work, prevent recurring errors and strengthen service performance as FundSense grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
