Brand New Head of Data and Analytics Role

Brand new Head of Data and Analytics role with the opportunity to build a data capability from the ground up. Highly visible position partnering directly with senior leadership and influencing business strategy. Genuine progression opportunity to grow a team and establish a commercial data offering over time.

About the Role

Are you a hands-on data leader who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and making things happen? We're working with a well-established professional services organisation that's investing heavily in data, analytics and automation. They're looking for a Head of Data and Analytics to take ownership of their data landscape, create a clear strategy and deliver tangible business value from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

This is an opportunity for a Head of Data and Analytics to join at the start of a major data journey. Initially, you'll be a standalone expert, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery whilst building trusted relationships across the business. You’ll own the development of the organisation's data and analytics capability. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities and deliver solutions that improve decision making and efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
