Head of Data & Analytics - London
Hybrid working - £100K plus bonus
I'm working with a growing organisation looking for an experienced Head of Data & Analytics to own their data strategy, platform and analytics function.
This is a hands-on leadership role, managing a small team while remaining technically involved where needed. You'll have real ownership of the data agenda and the opportunity to shape how data is used across the business.
The Role
- Own and deliver the Data & Analytics strategy
- Manage and develop a small data team
- Stay hands-on technically when required
- Lead the architecture and optimisation of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks & Power BI
- Oversee data engineering, pipelines, lakes, warehouses and integrations
- Drive advanced analytics, predictive modelling and ML
- Partner with senior stakeholders to turn data into actionable business insight
- Champion self-service BI and Power BI
- Own data governance, quality, security and compliance
- Identify new technologies and opportunities to drive innovation

About You
We're looking for a senior data leader with a strong technical background and the ability to operate strategically. You'll ideally have:
- Experience leading a Data & Analytics function
- Strong Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and Power BI experience
- A background across data engineering, architecture and analytics
- Experience managing a small team
- The ability and willingness to remain hands-on
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including at C-suite level
- A good understanding of data governance and security
