Head of Data & Analytics

Hertfordshire | Hybrid

£80,000 - 120,000 doe

We're looking for an experienced Head of Data & Analytics to join a growing professional services business at an exciting point in its transformation journey.

This is a newly created leadership role with the opportunity to shape the organisation's data strategy, build a modern analytics capability and play a key role in driving innovation, automation and AI across the business.

You'll work closely with senior leadership to turn data into commercial insight, improve operational performance and develop a best-in-class data function.

The Role

You'll:

  • Define and deliver the firm's data and analytics strategy.
  • Lead the development of a modern Azure-based data platform.
  • Deliver impactful reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Drive automation through the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Champion data governance, quality and best practice.
  • Develop CRM capability and improve business intelligence.
  • Build and lead a high-performing analytics team.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Help develop a future client-facing data and analytics offering.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience leading a Data & Analytics or Business Intelligence function.
  • Strong technical skills across Power BI, SQL, Python and Azure.
  • Experience with data engineering, automation and low-code solutions.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into business value.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for innovation, technology and AI.
