About Camden AI

Camden AI is a London-based data and AI consultancy. We help clients across retail, ecommerce, higher education, media, insurance and hospitality design, build and run data foundations needed to use AI to automate business process and drive actionable insights.

From strategy through to hands-on implementation, we solve complex data challenges and address business process pain points along the way.

The Role

We are looking for a senior consultant level to drive growth through project delivery and client engagement across our client portfolio, and lead new customer partnerships.

This is a senior, hands-on role. You will have the opportunity to shape our frameworks and standards, while also designing, building and reviewing data solutions across Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and similar platforms. You will ensure strong data lineage, quality, ownership and consistency throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will bring commercial and business understanding alongside deep technical expertise. With a background in consultancy or professional services, you will be comfortable working across multiple clients, industries and technical environments simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own data architecture and governance standards across concurrent client engagements, primarily involving Azure, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Drive AI first culture with expertise of CoPilot, Claude, Open AI and have good understanding of ML models.
  • Define and implement governance frameworks covering data definitions, lineage, quality, ownership and access controls.
  • Establish a single source of truth by resolving conflicting, inconsistent or duplicated data across multiple systems.
  • Design, review and stress-test dimensional, warehouse and lakehouse data models for scalability, accuracy and performance.
  • Work hands-on in delivery, including designing, building and reviewing ETL and data pipelines.
  • Partner with Solution Architects and delivery teams to embed architecture and governance standards from the beginning of each engagement.
  • Support new-business opportunities by participating in client conversations, understanding business needs and shaping suitable technical solutions.
  • Produce clear technical documentation, including data models, architecture diagrams, data flows and design decisions.
  • Provide technical assurance and guidance across projects, identifying risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Potential to lead a team as the company grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or comparable platforms, with the ability to work directly in the technology rather than solely advising.
  • Experience designing, building and reviewing scalable data pipelines and architectures and how Agentic architecture operates and delivered.
  • The ability to move confidently between strategic governance work and hands-on technical delivery.
