Head of Data and Insights
Location: ScottishPower HQ, Glasgow
Salary: from £76,800 per annum, up to 30% bonus, car allowance, family medical cover + other excellent benefits

At ScottishPower, we're committed to delivering a smarter, more customer-focused energy future. As Head of Data and Insights, you'll lead the strategy and capability that enables data-driven decision making across our Customer Business.
You'll play a pivotal role in improving customer experiences, shaping innovative propositions, driving personalisation and helping the business achieve stronger commercial outcomes through trusted insight, analytics and emerging technologies, including AI. This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to influence strategic direction across the business while supporting our journey towards Net Zero.
What you'll be doing
- Define and deliver the data, analytics and insight strategy for Customer Business, ensuring it supports marketing, commercial and wider organisational objectives.
- Establish clear roadmaps that prioritise activity delivering measurable value for customers and the business.
- Through your leadership, customer insight will be embedded into product development, campaign planning, customer experience improvement and key business decisions.
You'll champion best practice use of data across the business, supporting more effective targeting, segmentation, personalisation and performance measurement. You'll identify new opportunities to leverage data, analytics and AI capabilities while ensuring all activity is customer-centred, compliant and focused on fair outcomes. You'll also lead specialist teams across reporting, proposition development and market research, building capability and creating a high-performing environment.

What you'll bring
We're looking for an experienced data, analytics and insight leader with a strong track record of translating data into meaningful commercial and customer outcomes.
You'll Bring
- Significant leadership experience within data, analytics or customer insight functions.
- Experience developing and delivering data and insight strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong commercial awareness with an ability to balance value, risk and investment decisions.
- Expertise across analytics, customer insight, segmentation, market research and performance measurement.
- Experience using data, AI and insight to enhance customer experience, proposition development and business performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
- A proven ability to lead, develop and inspire specialist teams.
- Knowledge of emerging data and AI technologies and their application within customer-focused organisations.
