Head of Data Products and Technology
Our client are a leading user-generated video marketplace, with an extensive video library of unique content. As demand for high-quality AI training data accelerates, they're uniquely positioned to transform this library into valuable datasets, metadata, and annotation products for AI companies, and they need someone who can build that from the ground up, not just direct it from above.
This is a hands-on role. There is no data analytics team to hand work off to, you are the data function, as well as its strategic owner. We're looking for someone with strong, recent hands-on experience building data products who's ready for a step-up to own strategy end-to-end. If you're a capable people or product manager but haven't personally built a dataset, defined a taxonomy, or got hands-on with annotation and data pipelines recently, this isn't the right fit.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of the AI data product roadmap.
You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, AI, operations, and commercial teams to transform their collection of user-generated video into scalable, commercially valuable data products. As a scale-up with no dedicated data analytics resource, the role combines genuine strategic ownership with hands-on work to create datasets, shape annotation taxonomies and define metadata schemas.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
