Head of Data Services | London / Hybrid - Up to £95,000 + benefits

A leading digital marketing agency is looking for a Head of Data Services to lead and grow a multidisciplinary data function from its London office.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who combines strong technical data expertise with commercial thinking and an inspiring leadership style.

The role:

  • Set the strategic direction for Data Services across BI, Data Science, Digital Analytics, and Google Marketing Platform
  • Lead the function's AI transformation, embedding AI into delivery, processes, and capability
  • Own commercial performance, identifying growth opportunities and supporting pitches
  • Provide technical leadership across analytics, tagging, MMM, BI, and GMP
  • Lead and develop a senior leadership/practitioner team, with responsibility for a large wider function
  • Represent the data practice with C-suite clients and senior marketing stakeholders

We're looking for:

  • 7-10+ years' relevant experience
  • Strong leadership experience across multiple data/marketing disciplines
  • Agency experience preferred, particularly within the media/marketing ecosystem
  • Technical credibility across analytics, BI, MMM, and/or GMP - you don't need to be hands-on day-to-day, but must be able to challenge and guide technical teams
  • A strong commercial track record, with demonstrable impact on revenue, growth, and client relationships
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the presence to engage senior clients and stakeholders
