Making a difference to young people's lives isn't something that happens by chance. It takes great leadership, strong partnerships, and a team united by a shared purpose.

At The King's Trust, we're committed to helping young people develop the confidence and skills they need to move forward in life. Behind every programme, partnership, and success story is a team of passionate people working together to create opportunities where they're needed most.

We're looking for a Head of Delivery to lead this work across your area, ensuring our services reach the young people who need them most and deliver meaningful, lasting impact.

This is a role for a strategic leader who enjoys bringing people together around a common purpose. You'll lead talented teams, shape how our services are delivered, and build strong relationships with partners, funders, and stakeholders who share our ambition to change young lives.

You'll provide leadership across a broad portfolio of programmes and services, ensuring we continue to deliver excellent outcomes while identifying new opportunities to extend our reach and impact.

Working closely with colleagues across the Trust, you'll help turn strategy into action by:

  • Leading and developing high-performing teams that are motivated, supported, and focused on achieving great outcomes for young people.
  • Building strong relationships with partners, funders, and stakeholders to strengthen our local presence and create new opportunities.
  • Using data, insight, and feedback to continuously improve performance, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensuring safeguarding, inclusion, and young people's wellbeing remain at the heart of everything we do.

You'll also play an important role in helping us deliver against funding commitments, maximise resources, and ensure our programmes continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of young people and communities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
