Opportunity
Map Room is seeking to engage with Senior Change and Operational Excellence Professionals for a leadership position, reporting to the Managing Director of Map Room. The primary focus of this role is to lead and scale our consulting capability to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers. You will ensure we design, deliver and evolve high-quality consulting and resourcing services aligned to our growth ambitions.
Reward
We are different, and our reward reflects this. A flexible base salary to reflect your experience, with a target range of £70,000 - £100,000, plus the ability to earn uncapped commission on the business you bring in, PLUS the opportunity to become an owner of the business.

As Head of Delivery for Map Room, you will be responsible for:
- Driving commercial performance across consulting services including revenue, margin, and utilisation.
- Identifying, shaping, and closing new customer opportunities, personally contributing to Map Room's revenue growth and profitability.
- Expanding Map Room’s services within existing customers, identifying and closing relevant opportunities to deliver more customer value.
- Shaping the consulting strategy aligned to Map Room’s commercial and growth objectives.
- Providing SME support to the Sales function to ensure pipeline development aligns to defined customer profiles and consulting propositions.
- Leading, developing, and managing Practitioners across sectors and propositions.
- Overseeing end-to-end consulting delivery including programme design, delivery assurance, and outcomes.
- Acting as the senior escalation point for consulting delivery, performance, and customer issues.
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with customers as an expert, senior consulting and advisory partner.
- Ensuring robust governance, quality standards, and assurance are upheld at all times.
- Working closely with the MD of Map Room to shape organisational design, capability planning, and future service offerings.

Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Recognised Business Change or Operational Excellence qualification.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership experience within professional or consulting services.
- Strong commercial and strategic capability.
- Ability to lead and scale high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
- Sound judgement and decision-making in complex environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working within regulated or complex delivery environments.
- Experience operating at director / executive level.
- Multi-sector consulting leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of programme delivery and transformation methodologies.
