Overview
As a client-focused key leader in our organisation, the Head of Delivery will guide and oversee the successful delivery of our solutions across Data Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, AI/GenAI, and software engineering domains. This role is essential for managing stakeholder relationships, promoting continuous improvement, and cultivating a culture of technical excellence and high performance. You will play a vital part in upholding our commitment to quality throughout all project phases while ensuring delivery aligns with our strategic business objectives. You will ensure processes and frameworks constantly evolve and improve to fit the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Risk Mitigation
- Overseeing and ensuring any and all risk to project deliverables, timelines, and successful completion of project in line with SoWs end-to-end
- Establish strong frameworks for systematic risk management for flawless delivery of our commitments to our clients in line with SoWs
- Mentor both senior and junior team members within the PMO function to greater enhance their project execution abilities and further derisk client engagements
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Define, maintain, and communicate project plans, monitoring KPIs to ensure projects remain on track closely flagging any and all risk to timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client, business, and technical stakeholders, facilitating support and alignment across projects both internally and externally
- Engaging and leading conversations with key stakeholders to ensure all needs and dependencies for delivery are provided and actioned to ensure successful and timely delivery
- Conduct regular progress reviews and capture lessons learned to refine delivery processes
- Driving and owning project scope change and all required processes such as RFCs as and when required for all projects

Resource Management
- Lead matrix management of cross-functional delivery teams, driving excellence and high performance
- Coordinate resources and prepare project teams for successful project kick-offs, workshops, and more
- Champion Agile methodologies and foster a culture of resilience and responsiveness
- Provide senior leadership with insights on resource performance, highlighting areas of risk to the successful delivery of projects/project deliverables in a timely manner removing the negative impact
Standardisation & Process Improvement
- Establish and maintain repeatable, effective ways of working
- Developing frameworks for continuous improvement of our delivery processes, to support the increased scaling of the business and expedite onboarding of new projects
- Developing frameworks for the continued delivery of value-added IP to our IP library
- Create and maintain a robust documentation library to ensure consistency across projects
- Continuously identifying and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency
Client Management
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key clients, positioning BI:PROCSI as a trusted advisor
- Align project requirements and scope with client business models, market dynamics, and long-term goals
- Identify growth opportunities within client engagements and contribute to business development initiatives

Requirements and Experience
- 10+ years in project delivery within a technical consulting environment, managing large-scale projects for enterprise clients across multiple workstreams
- Proven experience managing delivery across Data Engineering, Data Science & Analytics, and AI/GenAI domains
- Strong matrix management skills with a history of leading cross-functional teams and large PMO functions
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities and communication skills
- Experience in Agile project management, including practical knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools
- Demonstrated success in problem-solving, risk management, and driving issue resolution
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of developing high-performing delivery teams
- Strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications in Agile, project management, or domain-specific areas are advantageous
