Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) | Anglian Water

Lead major programmes. Shape the future. Deliver lasting impact.

At Anglian Water, we're investing in the future of our region, our communities and our environment. As we continue to deliver one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure and transformation programmes, we're looking for an exceptional Head of Delivery to join our Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) leadership team.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a complex, high-profile portfolio of operational, infrastructure, engineering and transformation programmes that directly support our business plan commitments and long-term strategic ambitions.

If you're a proven senior leader who thrives on delivering at scale, inspiring teams, building partnerships and driving performance, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As Head of Delivery, you'll be accountable for defining and executing the IOS delivery strategy, ensuring the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects across Anglian Water.

Reporting to the IOS Delivery Director, you'll provide strategic leadership across delivery operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and in line with regulatory and business objectives.

You'll lead a team of Programme and Senior Programme Managers, whilst providing broader functional leadership across internal teams, alliance partners and supply chain organisations.

This is a role that combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, requiring a leader who can balance customer outcomes, commercial performance, governance, safety and delivery results.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead a High-Performing Delivery Function
    • Set the strategic direction for programme delivery across IOS
    • Lead a complex portfolio of operational, infrastructure and transformation programmes
    • Build and develop a high-performing delivery organisation capable of delivering at scale
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
    • Drive delivery excellence across Anglian Water, alliance partners and supply chain teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
